Dr. Justin Starr, CCAC endowed professor of Advanced Technologies, and Robert Koch, CCAC professor of Automotive Engineering, were recently featured in Futurum magazine, published in the U.K. by Futurum Careers, a free online resource and magazine aimed at encouraging 14–19-year-olds worldwide to pursue careers in science, tech, engineering, math and medicine (STEM) and social sciences, humanities and the arts for people and the economy (SHAPE).

The publication features profiles of professors, educators and research projects that are likely to spur high school–aged youth to enter STEM fields. Their expertise was the focus of an article on electric and self-driving cars and how to prepare the future technicians who will service tomorrow’s vehicles. Take a look to get up to speed on self-driving vehicles, artificial intelligence, electric automotive technology and how CCAC has been working to train the next generation of technicians for the computerized transport age.
